Director of Photography Simon Glass

I provide filming expertise for broadcasters, streamers and content creators. Have a look at my work….

Proud of the work I create. Excited for the impact I can make.

Working in the broadcasting industry my work has taken me all over the country and the world creating content for broadcasters, streamers and corporate clients.

While working on scripted and non-scripted programmes I have experienced the full range of formats and have gained experience in a number of genres building up an extensive range of kit along the way.

I love what I do.

I am passionate about creating the best content. I strive for it to be technically the best it can be, visually fulfilling the brief and creatively using whatever resources I have to ensure the best result.

I keep on thinking new.

I am continually updating my kit, experimenting with new formats and cameras and regularly attend international trade shows to ensure my knowledge of the latest technology is current.

I challenge my results.

I work collaboratively with producers/directors to ensure the best possible results are gained on the shoot. Attention to detail, capturing the essence of the story and ensuring talent/contributors are comfortable and produce their best work are very important to me and I strive to shoot my best work each day.

I grow through experience.

My experience extends across presenter led series, documentary, drama, factual entertainment, reality, formats and multi-camera shoots and travelogues. I enjoy the variety and learn through each experience.
